We collect information that identifies, relates to, or could reasonably be linked to you or your business:

  • Contact Information: Name, email address, phone number, and physical business address provided via Website forms or Portal registration.

  • Franchisee Account Data: Information used to manage your franchise relationship, stored securely within our CRM system (Outseta).

  • Integrated Financial Data: If you choose to integrate with QuickBooks Online, we retrieve data via the Intuit API, including sales receipts, invoices, expense records, and financial statements (Profit & Loss, Balance Sheets).

  • Usage Data: IP addresses, browser types, and access times to help us improve Portal performance and security.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the data collected for the following business purposes:

  • To provide and maintain the Franchisee Portal and its supporting tools.

  • To automate royalty fee calculations and marketing fund contributions as outlined in your Franchise Agreement.

  • To provide centralized financial dashboards and business performance analytics.

  • To communicate important system updates, operational guidance, and support responses.

3. Data Sharing and Disclosure

  • No Sale of Data: We do not sell, rent, or lease your personal or financial information to third parties for marketing or any other purpose.

  • Service-Driven Data Sharing: We share your data with third-party service providers (such as Intuit Inc. and Outseta) only as necessary to provide the integrated functionality you have explicitly authorized.

  • Legal Obligations: We may disclose information if required to do so by law, court order, or to comply with a regulatory investigation.

4. Data Security and Technology

We employ industry-standard security measures to protect your data:

  • Encryption: All data transmitted between the Portal and third-party services like QuickBooks Online is encrypted using SSL/TLS 1.2 or higher.

  • Secure Authorization (OAuth): We do not see or store your QuickBooks Online login credentials. Connections are established using OAuth 2.0, and we store only encrypted access tokens.

  • Access Control: Access to franchisee data is restricted to authorized Innova Franchising personnel who require it for support and compliance purposes.

5. Data Retention and Deletion

  • Retention Period: We retain your information for as long as your Franchise Agreement remains in effect, or as required to fulfill legal, tax, and accounting obligations.

  • Account Termination: Upon the termination of your franchise relationship, your access to the Portal and all active integrations (including QuickBooks Online) will be revoked.

  • Deletion Requests: You may request the deletion of your personal data by contacting hello@innovafranchising.com. We will honor these requests subject to our mandatory record-keeping requirements under the Franchise Agreement.

6. Third-Party Links and Services

Our Portal integrates with services provided by Intuit Inc. Your use of those services is subject to the Intuit Global Privacy Statement. We recommend reviewing their privacy practices to understand how they handle your data on their platform.

7. Your Rights and Choices

  • Opt-Out: You may choose not to provide personal information, though this may limit your ability to use certain Website features.

  • Revocation of Access: You may disconnect the QuickBooks Online integration at any time through the Portal’s “Settings” menu or via your Intuit App Center account.

  • Access and Correction: You may review and update your contact information through your Portal profile.
